Artisan Bread Making Course - 'Beautiful Bread' At The Weekend (SOLD OUT)
This is a "hands on" day learning how to make consistently good artisan bread with an expert and passionate young baker. On the day baking you will:
- Mix and knead a traditional dough, which will then prove in a banneton to produce your own artisan loaf
- Learn how to shape and fill your own fabulous savoury rolls - think mediterranean vegetable, feta and caramelised red onion....
- Make a sweet dough or brioche to create sweet buns, twists and plaits
On the day Martha will also introduce you to sourdough and pre-ferments and guide you on how these can be used in your baking to influence the taste, consistency and even digestibility of your bread.
You will make at least 3 different breads to take home to enjoy with friends & family.
Course Time: 11.00 - 4.00
This course includes refreshments and an informal light lunch.
