This one day introduction to northern Spanish inspired Tapas cookery will highlight just why Javier's home town of San Sebastian has an amazing 16 michelin stars within the town. Anybody who know about authentic Spanish food understands that it is so much more than just Paella!
Javier, originally a chef and now owner of Basco Fine Foods a leading supplier of traditional Spanish food, will share his passion for traditional Spanish Tapas cookery and authentic Spanish food.
On this Authentic Tapas Cookery Course you will work alongside Javier to make the following tapas to take home and share with family and friends.
- Gambas Pil Pil (prawns in garlic and chilli)
- Green asparagus with manchego and romesco sauce
- Hake Basque style
- Spicy chorizo cooked in red wine and honey
- Tarta de Santiago - a traditional Basque dessert
Javier will also demo the following for you to taste:
- Salmorejo cordobes - an almond and tomato gazpacho
Your lunch will be a deicious Iberico pork fillet with Pedro Ximenez Sauce, which Javier will cook for you
