Introduction to perfect preserving (hosted by Le Parfait) - NEW COURSE
This days preserving course shows you how you can use heat preserving techniques in a fascinating new way to create a series of stunning dishes. Once preserved in a jar these dishes can be consumed all year round and also make perfect gifts and presents.
The course is being hosted by Le Parfait the home of preserving and internet phenomenon Alexis Gabriel known as the French Guy Cooking.

On this introduction to heat preserving techniques you will make a selection of to take home and enjoy:
- Stir-fried free-range chicken preserve with local seasonal mushrooms and a French white wine gravy
- Seasonal soup of pumpkin, chestnuts and hazelnuts, spiced up with some stock from the previous recipe, nutmeg and sage
- A cake in a jar- either chocolate and orange or a marble cake of chocolate and vanilla
All of these dishes are made in Le Parfait jars then heat treated in a pan and keep up to one year.
Course times : 11.00 - 3.00
This course includes refreshments and a light seasonal lunch.
