Baking Masterclass with Danny Bryden (SOLD OUT)

This is full day baking masterclass under the expert tuition of Danny Bryden (semi finalist in the Great British Bake Off - series 3).  Danny is a keen amateur baker and balances this with a full time career as a hospital consultant. Danny will guide you through several technically very different baking techniques including  how to deal with sweet doughs and work with unusual flours. During the day you will bake at least 3 fabulous creations to take home and wow your friends and family.  There will also be plenty of time to chat to Danny about her time on the Great British Bake Off and find out more about her own 'baking journey'. Danny is probably most famous on the show for her magical Bakewell Buns (she won star baker that week). During the day you will typically create the following:

1.  Make a sweet strudel
2. A genoese cake (with the wow factor!)
3. Danny's winning "Bakewell Buns"

Danny will also demonstrate how to make the perfect macaroons

Danny has very kindly given up her valuable time from her busy medical career and will donate her fees for this course to her two chosen charities of FareshareUK and Magic Breakfast.

Hartingtons is also donating a place on the course to our chosen charity Helens Trust.

This course includes refreshments and an informal light lunch.
