This gourmet tasting menu previews the fabulous summer flavours of Derbyshire and the Peak District.  Join Darren Goodwin Head Chef from award winning Losehill House Hotel as he takes you on a culinary journey and showcases the best of the coming summer time Derbyshire flavours.  This unique 6 course tasting menu is accompanied by 6 fabulous wines specifically selected to compliment each dish is unique to Hartingtons and is available for one night only!

The Gourmet Supper Club convenes at 7.00 p.m in our converted saw mill in the heart of Bakewell and is rapidly establishing itself as one of the highlights of the Peak District's 'culinary scene'.  Have a look at our recent Gourmet Supper Clubs to get a flavour of this one off event.

A warm welcome awaits all visitors to Hartingtons Gourmet Supper Club with a tutored wine tasting featuring some of the finest seasonal wines by Jane Cummings of John Hattersley Wines.  

The Menu will be:

  • Watercress, asparagus and bacon
  • Cornfed chicken, pumpernickel, parfait, pickled vegetables
  • 40°c sea trout, cauliflower, apple, sorrel, wild rice
  • Braised shin of dexter beef, parsley quinoa, spring onion, Jaipur
  • 'Strawberries and yoghurt'
  • Orange blossom and vanilla cheesecake, pistachio, raspberry & white chocolate

The event starts at 7.00 p.m and finishes between 9.30 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. Food and drink are  provided by Hartingtons, with all wines and food being included.
