South Indian Cookery Course (JUST 3 PLCES LEFT)
On this fabulous full day "hands on" course join talented, passionate Indian cook, Sarah Dadswell to learn how to cook a complete South Indian meal.
Discover the difference that using fresh whole and ground spices make to the flavour of your food. Sarah will explain Indian spices to you and will give you the confidence to cook with them at home. Get to understand the reason for using the spices in different ways and learn how to incorporate this knowledge into adapting and varying the dishes demonstrated. At the end of this cookery course you will have created three very different Indian dishes to take home amd share with family and friends.
On the day you will work along side Sarah to make:
- Mangalorean Chicken
- Greens and Beans Thoran (Foogath)
- Hake with coriander mint crust baked in banana leaf
In addition, Sarah will bring along her coconut coriander chutney for you to taste and you will take her family recipe home.
Each dish you make will serve 2 people so you will have a mini feast to take home at the end of the course.
Sarah will serve one of her signature dishes for lunch.
