Our food foraging courses will unearth the secrets of natures larder showing you what food you can forage safely in the headrows and woodlands in and around the Peak District. Typically, we will discover 30-40 foraged foods during our foraging day. Our food foraging courses are unique in that we also show you how you can cook the foraged food to produce stunning plates of food at home.
Our food foraging & cookery courses comprise uniquely of 2 elements to the day. The first part is a 4 hour accompanied forage along the hedgerows and Monsall Trail just outside Bakewell. This is followed by a foraged food cookery element where our expert forager and cook will demonstrate how the foraged food can be incorporated into your cooking by demonstrating how the foraged food can be incorporated into a stunning foraged food tasting menu, You then get to taste each of the foraged food tasting menu as well as experiencing a whole range of foraged food ingredients.
